The Arizona Coyotes are officially on their way to Salt Lake City. The NHL Board of Governors voted unanimously on Thursday to approve the Coyotes' relocation to Utah's capital.

The relocation saga, which has been in the works for several years, finally reached its conclusion with the Board of Governors' vote. The Coyotes, who have called Arizona home since 1996, played their final game in the state on Wednesday, a 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers at the 5,000-seat Mullett Arena in Arizona.
